Hi, I’m Caroline León Williams

I identify as a mixed African American and Latina cis-gendered female. I have experience working with cultural identity, mixed identity, interracial relationships, career exploration, court mandated adults, substance abuse, trauma, depression and anxiety. I have worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and colleges providing individual, couples, family and group therapy. 

I initially had studied and received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. During my time as an undergraduate student,  I worked as a tutor and advisor working with disadvantaged and underrepresented youth. I naturally found myself providing a comfortable space for youth to confide in me and share their authentic voice. I eventually realized that I felt most aligned with my values and authentic self when understanding how a person’s experiences influence who they are. Thus, I chose to pursue a Master’s in Counseling. This experience has been eye-opening in recognizing how important it is to connect with our feelings and values.
